No big deal, but interesting. New to me. This eBay auction ended at 14:57:25 (that's 5:57 PM EDT and 25 seconds). I won it by my $22.22 bid at 14:57:13. That was my maximum bid. The guy who came in second bid $22.22 at 14:57:20! (The only other bid was $12.50.)

(I am not certain of this, but if he had bid $22.23, I think he would have won because after my $22.22 bid was made, it would show up as $13.00 [50 cents above the earlier $12.50 bid -- because of eBay's proxy bidding system.]. Thus, if he bid $22.23 it would have been recorded since it was more than 50 cents above the $13.00 shown, and it would have beat my maximum bid of $22.22. Photo finish. Thrilling, eh?)
