I wish I had more people complaining about my auctions, so the prices would go up?

I had to work Sunday, but one chip and 16 Nevada/Casino postcards were going at 4 PM (who would schedule an auction to end during a football game? )

AT 11:40 AM I bid just what I thought would be my Max. price and won both auctions, well below my highest possible bid.

A couple of weeks ago, someone outbid me by a quarter for a NCV from WI. I agree it hacked me off a bit, but there are hundreds more of that chip, and maybe next time, I'll be lowest, high bidder.

I don't usually bother to try to snipe, but you are also right (or whoever said it) many people don't want to show their cards, before the last day. So I can put up something and get no bids, until the final hours.

Third theory bid the Max. you would pay for something and if someone else Snipes it away from you, it just saved some money, because it went too high.
