Mark, I've asked this question before but have not received any response, Maybe you can help.

Needless to say I am very pleased with the many $1.00 chip releases initiated by the 4 Queens.

My question is however, why? This new release is only going to be 3,000 chips. Surely, the 4 Queens will at best break even considering all the other cost involved aside from the cost of making the chip. Ergo, I don't believe a direct profit motive is the answer.

Is it possibly to enhance its image with chip collectors? Good advertising promotion? or what. Whatever the answer, I hope the 4 Queens continue to issue these low denomination chips.
