It all has to do with space availability and money. When we are as small a conventions as we are the hotels tell us what time frame is available. We just don't have the power to tell them when we want to hold our convention. Also, because we are willing to accept a summer timeframe we gain a lot economically both in lower room rates and in much lower convention costs. When we can generate over 10000 attendees, we might have a better chance at changing the time frame. Keep promoting the club and sponsor new members, maybe we'll make it soon.
