Some casinos, Caesar's for one, are using them instead of $1.00 chips. I really didn't like the ticket in/ticket out machines and wouldn't play in the Palms when it first opened. We were there a second time because I wanted an Ozzy Osbourne chip, and I played a poker machine at the bar and won. It really wasn't so bad at all because the Palms had enough cashiers. So my opinion changed a bit. I'd hate to see ti/to machines at some of the other casinos though...
