Dude, that sucks! Is there any way you can take some VaKay time before your trip to get the Conv., in? Personally, I'd be genuflecting before the Boss, acting as a personal carpet...whatever, to get a few advance days! Tell him/her what you do, and maybe they are some sort of collector as well, and would understand!
