The rumors were true--Harrah's Entertainment (HET) bought three Horseshoe casinos for $1.4 BILLION, including Horseshoe debt. The casinos are in Tunica, Bossier City, and Shreveport. The Vegas 'Shoe was not involved. Jack Binion will stay on for awhile as an adviser, etc. The casinos will keep the Horseshoe name (like Rio, Showboat, etc.). Very interesting news that should be worth following. Wonder if Harrah's will issue new chips for the occasion?
