What about the Owl Club??

If Miner's Club was 1931-1940's, and the Alpine Club was 1944-1955, where does the Owl Club fit in? The Owl Club isn't in your book, or in TCR, so I assume no chips have been found. But the club was there....based on postcards, phone books, Fuller's Index, and TGT. (ohhh...I'm having flashbacks to the "Apache debate"!!! rofl )

The phone book definitely has the Owl Club at 444 Aultman Street 1945 through 1952 (note: we don't have pre-1945, 1946-1949, 1953 or 1954 phone books).

The August, 1955 phone book definitely has the Alpine Club at 444 Aultman Street. It's not listed in August, 1956.

Postcards definitely show that the Owl Club and Miners Club were in the same location.

grin disclaimer: I know that all of the authors of our reference books work very hard to be as complete and correct as possible...and I hope no one takes offense at these posts. If, however, anyone does take offense....IT'S ALL MARK E's FAULT!!! rofl
