First my wife grew up in Broken Arrow and football is real big there.

Second she would rather be a football mom than a soccer mom.

Plus we looked into the program to see who was running it and made sure the coaches approch was instructional and fun. Not full blown competetive.

The best thing would be for you and your wife to come and see a game of Mighty Might Football (5,6,7,8 year olds). The speed is so slow that there is not alot of bodies flying all over the place and hurting people. Plus the league is weight restrictive. No big kids running over the small ones. The biggest thing is tring to get the learn to hit other kids. They have a protective nature. A little crying the first time they get stuck, but after they realize that their OK then they get back in there.
