As you and Avee know I have been to Cuba three times fishing. We have always stayed in small towns. Contrary to what our government tells us the Cuban people and government love having Americans there and they treat you extremely well. It is one of the safest foreign countries you could want to visit. What a lot of people don't realize is that even though our government has restrictions on travel to Cuba, to other countries it's a resort island just like St. Thomas is to us. I really believe everyone should try to visit it before it is opened to Americans and gets overrun by commercial activity. At one time Havana had to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Unfortunately it is crumbling now and may be beyond restoration.

Hopefully you will get there soon. Since their drought three years ago ruined the fishing we have stopped going, opting for our Brazil Peacock bass trips instead.
