The Ponderosa didn't last long as a non-smoking casino. They closed their doors in 1992, I think. Only open a couple of years. They were a regular somking casino prior to that.
Last time I drove by there, "The Girls From Chico St." were on a roll. 
It is now a gentlemans club.
