It happens all the time. I sold an item for $2.99 not to long ago.

A week or so later I sold a similar item for $5.99. They decided to take the buy it price.

Then a few weeks back another similar item went 12 days. One 5 day and one 7 day auction and got no bids at all.

Go figure is right.
