The Frontier & Elvis 1971

Gerry Seible has been a friend for 10 years. He started downtown as a BJ dealer at the Monte Carlo in 1946 after being a Marine in the pacific theater. He worked his way through several downtown properties and wound up as Casino Manager at the Frontier in 1971.
Teresa Brewer was appearing in the showroom. He got a phone call. The caller said he needed 13 front row seats. Jerry said IMPOSSIBLE. The caller said Elvis Presley would could consider it a personal favor if his party could be accomodated. Teresa was his favorite singer per the caller. Jerry said, "consider it done."
Elvis and his party entered after the lights were dimmed. Jerry says no one in the show room knew it was Elvis including when the camera girl snapped this picture. The lady in the background clearly does not know she is sitting behind "The King", IMO. After the show Elvis was escorted backstage.
