Re: Old Timers, Question for Ralph M?

That is true David. As Club VP I started an effort to promote membership renewal since there are many members who only stay in for a year or two. I think that there are currently around 2800 members and the net number is growing but slowly. I really think that if the club offered a coupon book of casino "values" that a lot more people would renew just to get the coupons. Wayne Thompson has taken over this effort (as reported in the current club magazine) and I have not yet had a chance to offer my services to him but do so now.

I know that I love coupon books. When we went to the convnetion I picked up the LVA book for $37 and got almost that much back just using the Palms coupon at Gregs dinner. Using the LVA and Casino Player coupons and other offers we managed a seven day stay where no meal cost over $15 for the two of us. No, we didn't eat at Delmonicos but I would put the Ellis Island ribs up against any in the city.

We should all do what we can to promote continued growth of the club. Remember that these new members are your future trading partners.
