Where's the righteous indignation?

I know I've been off this board for a while, but I just scanned the past week's worth of messages and can't find the uproar I was expecting. Is it true that the Hilton made ALL of the Star Trek chips available to the organizers of the convention, who then sold them for $20 each -- and only after you'd paid admission to the show? For all of the complaints we hear every time the Hard Rock does something (not to mention the threats to alert gaming) how did this manage to avoid a serious uproar? Someone tell me I just missed it, and please provide a link.
