Four Queens poll...

Recently, I've been told by several sources that putting together a complete $5 and under collection of Four Queens chips is a HUGE challenge, and may very well be unattainable. I personally have about 125 4Q chips now, and still have a long way to go.

The thing that gets me though is I often have people email me saying that they have lots of 4Q duplicates, some even say that have lots of "older" 4Q duplicates. This leads me to believe, that there are many people out there who collect 4Q chips.

Plus, the 4Q doesn't have a lot of older expensive chips to have to chase down... only 3 different $1's between 1966 and 1988, and only 3 different $5's in the same period (that I'm aware of). So that should make the task even more attainable - the vast majority of their chips have been produced since 1995 and should be fairly easy to obtain, right?

So my question is, is there anyone out there who has or thinks they have a complete 4Q collection ($5 and under)?? Are there any that are even close (95%, 80%, etc.)? Do I have any kindred souls out there who, like me, are aspiring to have such a complete collection??

Also, does anyone know of any of the post-1995 chips that are particularly hard to obtain? I haven't run into any yet.

I'd love to hear answers and 4Q stories from all you other 4Q collectors out there! grin
