Re: Arrowhead Inn chips for sale (large scan!)

I have been talking to him in email for a couple of weeks.
I gave him the history of the chips and how they got to where he got them. I also told him how many others are out there. It is a considerable amount.
I had two colors of the Maltese Cross chips in my articles on Chequers. Since then I have found 4 other colors. The 5 part Arrowhead Inn articles was published in a National magazine and I got many emails with information and two inquiries from relatives of the Nason's (operators of the Arrowhead.)

I don't think there are very many blacks out in the hobby but I know of two other people with multipul cases and chips just like his.

He has 490 blacks. IMO they are $5 chips and he would be lucky to sell 50 into the hobby. IMO the value would be in a ebay sale. A nice description with the history of the Arrowhead targeting local Cincinnati history buffs.

I have two colors for sale. Purple (35 found) Beige (135 found). I will sell them as a set for $15.
IMO they were used as roulette chips. If you read my articles you will see what type of roulette table they had at the Arrowhead. grin

BTW, I am pretty sure Harold Nason shot roulette harvestors in those days. grin
