My friend gets a free overnight at the Reno Hilton from one of her plumbing suppliers every year. Happy hour, dinner, show, overnight and breakfast. Neat, huh?

Arrived yesterday afternoon. Cleaned up and had about 45 minutes to get in some practice hold 'um. Took the good ole boys for $22.50.

After a couple of cool ones, an excellent dinner, we bussed to Harrah*s to see the Gordie Brown Show. Extremely funny, one man show.

After the show we checked to see if the 2003 HAN chips had been released. Good deal, they were. (see scan) Checked Cal-Neva. Nothing new there.

Back at the Hilton we asked about HAN chips. They have them, but wouldn't release them until tomorrow (Mon.) at 9:00 am. with a limit of two per person.

Decieded to practice a little more hold 'um. Played about an hour when I couldn't handle this old bag next to me that wouldn't shut up. Yak,yak,yak,yak,yak. Thing is, she never said anything. So, after my pocket As held up for a nice sized pot, I called it quits with a $45.75 profit.

After breakfast this morning, we headed for the Atlantis. I can't believe how smart some of these cage personell aren't. I ask one dumb cluck if their HAN chips have been released yet. She says, "huh"? I said, "your Hot August Night chips. Are they out yet"? First dumb cluck looked at second dumb cluck. Second dumb cluck looks like she's not even supposed to be there.

In frustration, we headed for the Peppermill. Here we get one sharp cookie. He says, "we got 'um, how many you want". (see scan)

After looking at a few houses, without buying yet, we headed back to Chester.

Pretty good trip, all in all.
