Yes, I have met a bunch of VERY SPECIAL people,you being one of them. Your sense of humor and support has meant alot.There are lots more that I am just getting to know and I am grateful for their even talking to me. I am AMAZED. WACKY, Oh, I don't know...I know a guy that collects MANHOLE COVERS. Guess they are just BIG CHIPS!! Has like 1600 of them all different. Guy next door to him has Totem Poles. Now that would be a neighborhood to live in.

In the final stages of collecting, when one becomes serious about it, is an addiction. I don't feel it is any different than the rush you get from drugs, alcohol, gaming, or whatever. It's a good CLEAN addiction, but nonetheless it is an addiction. I get a similiar rush from finding a one of a kind ashtray, or whatever. I don't think there is a chipper on this board that can't say he/she hasn't felt a big thrill when they obtained something they really needed or wanted. The Thrill of the HUNT!!

Then it is just fun to share your find with others, that's what it is all about. Learn about the stuff, I love the sharing on this board. It is just one great bunch of collectors!!I thank all of you that have been kind enough to accept me a little bit and then some. Sure didn't want to be a "Burt B."

Here is one I just got recently, not mint, but RARE as the proverbial hen's tooth.No chips or cracks, but has that nasty internal glass bubble in the worst possible spot...DAMN!!
