The Trump Worlds Fair Casino Murals

Courtesy of Janice & Jerry O'Neal, here are the matchbooks I've been looking for from Trump's Worlds Fair Casino in Atlantic City. I believe each is a representation of a mural of a World's Fair that hangs in the casino. They are, left to right, top row, bottom row:

#8 1964 Flushing Meadows, New York
#2 1976 Centennial Exposition, Philadelphia
#4 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago
#7 1939 New York World's Fair, Flushing Meadows
#6 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition, San Francisco
#5 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition, St. Louis
#3 1889 Universal Exposition, Paris
#1 1851 Great Expo of Industry of All Nations, London

As someone posted last week, there are $5 chips with the same pictures on them.

Too bad the world's interest has moved beyond World's Fairs. Attendance at the last few has been so sparse that it's unlikely there will be any more of the scale of these great ones in the 19th and 20th century. I was able to attend world's fairs in Seattle, Vancouver, and New Orleans but never one held outside North America.
