Ive been told that numberous problems can occur to chips when allowed to heat up in the car or trunk. From warping, to changing the molecular structure so that they become extrememely brittle to bleeding. I havent experienced these things myself, but whoever it was that told me this (can't remember who) had stated they had experienced the problems personally.

Were these chips exposed to high heat levels??
