Today is the deadline for the Mike Skelton Building Fund Auction described on the Club's Message Board ( http://www.ccgtcc.com/cgi-bin/mb/webbbs_config.pl?noframes;read=16106 ) for a two night stay at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Fabulous Las Vegas!

Also included are two tickets to see Gladys Knight during your stay.

There is also a $50 gift certificate for the Bootleggers restaurant, just South of McCarran airport off Las Vegas BLVD. This place is great! Serving great food (Italian) and if you go on a Friday or Saturday night, they have live entertainment.

That entertainment ranges from Blackie Hunt (an owner and member of The Characters) to walk-on acts to well known local stars practicing new acts. Last time I was there, Lorraine Hunt (married to Blackie and also Nevada's Lt. Governor) took to the microphone and sand several songs!

What a great place! Even if you don't win the auction, you should stop by there and spend a few hours!

Belinda Hixon remains the top bidder (at the moment) at $225. Mike has established a close of 6:00 pm (CST) today for this fund raiser event for the Building Fund.
