"Hard 8 " movie chips for sale

Hello all,

I am selling these movie-related advertising chips for:
¶ $42 postpaid/insured for a complete set (7 chips).
¶ $10 postpaid-insured for one chip of my choice (I'll be breaking up a set, so you will be getting one of the 7 chips).
If interested, email me directly (don't bother posting here).

These casino-quality chips were made to promote this acclaimed (for the most part) film-noir movie about gambling and hustling in Reno and Las Vegas. The movie is basically character studies of people who live around the gambling scene. "Hard 8," the name of the movie, is, of course, a particular bet at the craps table. Each of the chips show the name of the movie, two 4-spot dice (the hard 8), the tag line "Life's Hard, Play Hard," and "Asbury Park, NJ" (the production office of the movie company). I don't think the chips appear in the movie; rather they were promotional giveaways for the crew, parties, etc.

Originally released as "Sydney" (the main character in the film), it was later renamed and re-released to cash in on the success of "Magnolia." and "Boogie Nights," movies made by the same writer-director (Paul Thomas Anderson) and cast members (Philip Baker Hall, John C. Reilly and Philip Seymour Hoffman). "Hard 8" also stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Samuel L. Jackson. CONDITION: excellent condition, just the way Chipco (the chip manufacturer) made them; however, they were manufactured, at that time, with a dull gloss to them, not as sharp as in the picture here.
