Your theory makes sense. My Silver Slipper chip has the dice backed by dice and cards backed by cards. The only thing is if the cards are at 12:00 position, they are also at 6:00 position - same for dice. Last November, I posted this chip and asked if it might be a counterfeit. For various reasons, the consensus was that it wasn't a " genuine Borland Fake " - The scan is below.
