Here are some matches from the 1970's showing the Holiday Casino. There's also one that says River Queen that's almost identical in design. The inside printing of the first two shown is identical and both were made by the same match company.

My guess on the Claudine Williams story is that she is stating the facts exactly as they happened. Lots of supplies, including chips, matches, napkins, etc. were ordered to be ready for the River Queen opening. The name was changed to Holiday Casino and the items with the earlier name were discarded. Incidently, the River Queen match is not hard to find at shows.
