Greg (or someone) did a survey on the old Prodigy board before this board existed and at that time 5% of the people who responded said that they planned on spending over $10,000 on chips at the convention. The percentage who were going to spend over $1000 was huge but I can't remember the exact number(something like 85-90%). That year I came back with 800 chips which included roulettes and new trader stock from local casinos. Be prepared.
