Splitting hairs, but basically there are three types that this chip might be considered, 1) Fantasy, 2) Fake, 3) Commemorative.
Since the casino really existed, and it's not one that is "faked" for faud purposes, plus it has opening and closing dates, I'd say Commemorative.
But nice eyes Skee, it's not a real chip, no matter what.
Fantasy chips are chips from a casino that never existed.
Fakes can be replicas, chips for defrauding the casino or just plain chips that never existed from a real casino.
Commemorative means it's one or both of the above, but the maker uses the chip as a way to mark and event. Such as chips that have opening and closing dates on them. (especialyy a whole series from the early 90's using Nevada mold design)
