I'm not going to the convention. Someday I will...but not this year.
I bought my first Ron Lee Clown in 1980 or 1981. I saw 2 of them when I was at the mall one day, but they were almost $50 each, and that was a lot of money so I didn't buy one. A few weeks later, I was having a bad day at work. I remembered the clowns and went to the mall on my lunch hour, and bought one! 
I left him on my desk,and he always made me smile. About 2 weeks later I bought the other one. One was Hobo Joe sitting on the onyx base, holding an umbrella with no fabric to keep off the rain. The other was Hobo Joe with his hobo bag over his shoulder.
Thank you for bringing back a very pleasant memory! 
When I was at the factory/shop/museum, you could buy a sculpture and leave it there, they'd have Ron Lee autograph it for you, then they'd ship it to your home.
