Original Hilton rainbow chips, Trump Castle chips can still be redeemed at Trump Marina. Brighton chips can still be redeemed at Sands. But what collector in their right mind would cash in Hilton rainbow, Boardwalk Regency and Brighton chips at face value?

In the case of Playboy and/or Atlantis, the State of NJ has set up a redemption fund... with interest paid.... but collectors would be crazy to cash in PB and Atlantis chips at face value... unless they were very high denominaton chips that collectors won't pay the price for. Kicker is that the chips must have been used in play .... not the backups that are reportedly around.
