NEW Cliff Castle BJ chip - good news & bad news

The good news is Cliff Castle Casino - Camp Verde AZ released a new $5 blackjack chip

The bad news sad is I only got 7 - the LAST 7 according to the poker room supervisor. (John Long and Jim Follis - have you covered).

Here is a scan of the new chip.

Now the worse news: I have TWO chips and TWO only available at $20 each delivered. sad
Let me explain why...

As I said, I got 7. I am keeping one. One goes to Follis (email me Jim - because if you don't want it, someone else will get lucky grin ) and two more were pre-committed. I put one on Ebay (at face) so everyone has a shot at one.

This leaves me 2 chips - and no more at the casino (I'm sure they will trickle in now and then but any strays will go to those that are physically there to check and pick them up on a daily basis (which will NOT be me) sad

The reason they are so expensive is because Wyatt (my son) has been sick all week. Upon learning about these chips - and CLiff Castle being an hour away... I called them NIGHTLY - and had them give me a count of how many were left. Because there were less than 10, I knew it "now or never". Last night, I called again and the poker room supervisor agreed to hold the last 7 chips for me - but I had to get them LAST NIGHT. (no ifs ands or buts) sad
Wyatt was running a temp of 102, so I called some friends who have more time than money, and paid them $50 ($20 for their time, two rolls of quarters to "play" and $10 for gas) to drive over and get them. The guy said that while they were there - two more people came up and requested those chips. But the poker room employee kept his word, and held my chips.

After 3 go @ face to my fellow Arizonas (who make sure I get new AZ releases EVERY TIME), the bottom line cost of my 4 x $5 chips is $70. sad (I know - OUCH!)
I HATE to do it sad but I have no choice.
These last two are available @ $20 each since I wouldn't have gotten ANY if I hadn't paid a runner.

I wish I had been able to get them myself but I couldn't... sad
I wish I could have gotten 20 - but I couldn't.
I wish there had had more or that Wyatt wasn't sick, but that didn't happen. So it cost me another $50 to get these chips.

This appears to be another short-number "Cliff Castle" limited release(like the scarse $1 GO). The majority of them were given away to locals to promote business. If they follow the smae pattern as the $1 GO's, they will never be available at the casino. sad

Email me if interested.
