Yahoo Groups are a PITA. Pop up ads (yes but from the service, so you can't block them.) No ability to moderate. (watch the spam for great offers or porn drop in?) Poor threading of messages. No operator control of content, archives or much other than starting a group.

MSN groups aren't much better. Yes, they offer groups, with pictures, BBs and all sorts of nifty features. Try to find one... But when you do, they also have new message notification and some slick features. Sign your life away, and you can have one.

Aside from that. If someone wanted a Token BB I could have it up and running is about 15 Minutes. No ads, no porn, no pop-ups and with the ability to remove SPAM and other unwanted content. (Greg could do it in half that time.) I already pay for the server and space and it's pretty much dormant.
