HERE'S HIS RESPONSE

I had earlier sent him a post asking for attribution. Here is his response. Keep in mind that he is selling a number of Cuban chips properly attributed. There have been a number of people claiming that generic chips came out of illegal clubs--particularly in Texas and Louisiana. I have visited with several of the sellers, found them honest in their views and in some cases found they were members of the Club.

In 1978 I bought several thousand inlay chps (Arabian design) that came off an illegal Wyoming club.

Although a dangerous practice since the inlays were available for purchase and could be ringed into play, I have no doubt that some of the generic chips were used in casinos and clubs.

But here's Brian's response.

In Cuba, they believe these were used at the German Club in Habana. Most
probably, they were, and most probably they were manufactured in the US, so,
it's debatable, I guess, whether they should be called a Cuban chip, or a
chip used in Cuba.
This chip came out of Cuba years ago, as did the others I have listed for
sale at the moment.
Regards, Brian.
