I think everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, but to make a statement like this in a public forum, you might want to include the reason you feel this way.

If the Club made such a big mistake on this "sad day", I wish you would enlighten all of us Chuck.

If you and Howdy have some personal problem, you two boys need to work it out. If it is more than this, you might want to file a claim that Howdy has some how violated the Club's Code of Ethics. But remember, by making this wild ass statement in a public forum like you have, Howdy could in turn file one against you.

Howdy had done a lot for this Club and this Hobby over the years. There is no debate about that!
Like I said, if you have another perspective on this, please share it with all of us.
