For all you lovers of great chips, here's another...

Back in the mid 60's, a true villian 'Danny Questel' with links to the British Mafia (Kray Twins etc) took it upon himself to open a casino... as a hobby really!

The Casino 'The King of Clubs' became one of the most notorious joints outside of London, and many a great story has been told about the exploits of some high profile guests in their 'Private Salon' rooms ;-)

Well the 1968 British Gaming Act came along to clean up British casinos, and so in 1972, The King of Clubs shut it's doors for the final time :-(

The chip shown is one of only a handful still know to exist from this famous casino, and dates from 1970.
