Next time you are in an area where there are casinos (or make a special "harvesting" trip), stay off the tables for a few hours and go door to door picking up chips, say 5 $1 from each. I find that $1 are easier to trade and, obviously, less expensive. Usually you can get them from the cages although some casinos are funny about collectors. If the cage won't sell them, go to the craps table, plop down a $5 bill and ask for 5 $1. Study the table for a while (say 5 seconds) and then walk away with your chips.

When you have some extras, put them on your scanner and post a message on this board that you want to trade, face value for face value and you'll get lots of responses with offers. Trade away!!
