Larry; I think you may have a misconception of what slabbing and grading are all about.

There is no debate that there are differences in condition between chips being offered for sale ... the difference is that THE CLUB IS NOT GRADING (for a fee) and encapsulating these items and sending them back to the owners ...

All that the club has suggested is to come up with some common shorthand language that buyers and sellers might be able to agree upon in order to describe the condition of chips and tokens they may be offering for sale.

These chips and/or tokens are not being submitted to THE CLUB for grading and/or slabbing.
