I went to LV this last week and wanted to go do some of my first gambling... Bought the chips and thought, "nice, I think I want to keep some"... The next morning, I dragged my Girl Friend from the Luxor, up the Strip to The Stratosphere and started my trip down the Strip...Buying $5 chips and $1 token. Little need to be said, but my GF almost left me by the time we got back to the Luxor and I had decided that MAYBE the $1 token idea should have been $1 chips instead. While on this trip, I met a nice gentleman named "Vegas Lou" Lucci in the "Legends Deli" located in the Tropicana. Also, the purchase of a CCGTCC chip from the Flamingo got me pointed toward "ya'll". I have applied to join and hope to be able to become a Lifer in 3 yrs from now. I am hoping to be able to come out the the Convention and, while there, get rid of my $1 tokens and replace them with $1 chips.... My best finds on this new adventure was:

Did I do OK for a start? I really like the Tribute to Texas from the 4 Queens... got a Alamo chip.

I hope to become a member and join ya'll in LV for the convention.

Are there any Chip Chapters/Clubs in the DFW area?? or who is the closest to Fort Worth TX.
