My wife, who's six weeks pregnant and my 18 month old daughter were in an auto accident Monday. A van pulled out in front of her at the last minute without looking in her direction. They collided and the car rolled twice, landed on the drivers side and slid about 25 yards into a parking lot.

Cindy had one scratch and two small bruises and Summer had not one single scratch. The paramedics said if Cindy hadn't been in her seatbelt and if Summer hadn't been in her car seat, neither would've likely survived.

I'm now a FIRM believer in seatbelts! So please, everyone - buckle-up!
