Last time I went to a Sonic drive in was about two weeks ago. ...went to the drive-thru as I wanted to take my food home. Got to the voice box and was greeted with "order when you are ready". I looked at the menu, and looked at the menu, and looked again at the menu. I wanted to order things that weren't on the menu. I wanted popcorn chicken. Had to ask if they had it. Yes, and it came in different sizes. "Thanks, I'll have the snack size, and it isn't on your menu here at the speaker" I said. "Anything else sir?" was the next noise from the speaker box. I said "a small order of tater tots. ...and do you have pickle-o's?" Answer: "Of course we have pickle-O's!" My response was "well, they aren't on the menu either!" The kid working the window had a pretty good sense of humor. His response to that was "I'm sorry sir, do you want me to go kick my manager's butt?" I had to laugh, and told him no, but put a little fire in his ear to keep the menus current.
