I have used the Forstner bits to cut holes in a thin plywood board and mounted it in a frame. They come in a size that matches the normal chip and I found another size that works well with the chips in the plastic air tight cases. With this size you just drill half the depth of the case and you can place the chip in the case right in the wood and there is no need for anything else to keep the chip in place, the case fits firm. This allows easy changing of the displays. They look good in just a nice finished piece of wood. I don't have the sizes of the bits handy at the moment but if you would like them I can get them.
