Cleaning Chips...yes,no,maybe,sure...

I like to clean 'em, part of the futzing that makes a hobby enjoyable. Here's a perfect example of why and an example of why not! The Bordertown got cleaned because as you can see, it looks as if it dropped out of the nose of an ox. One of the reasons I am reluctant to patronize casino buffets. The Boomtown pieces though, are different. Leaving the house mold as found enhances the lettering. As a bonus this evening I found that this particular house mold is a 1975 issue,(no "Verdi, NV.") seldom found on the tables, an R-5! Got all these chips during blackjack play last week.
