I don't know if they still do this at the Isle, but when making the room reservation, I asked about a players club discount. The reservations clerk asked me if I was a players club member, and I wasn't at the time. She told me to go ahead and make the reservation, and after checking in, join the club, take the players club card back to the hotel lobby, and they'd adjust the bill then and there. ...knocked about $20/night right off the bat.
