The Macau gambling monopoly is over. There are now three operators.
SJM (Sociedade de Jogos de Macau)is one, and has substituted STDM from Stanley Ho- same owners.There are now 13 casinos from this operator. They mantains the old chips from STDM and are issuing new chips with STDM designation (some of them showed before).
The other operators are WYNN and VENETIAN. They will open casinos next year- they are recruting personal now.So NEW CHIPS from Macau next year.
In the picture is the site of the new Venetian casino in Macau.They says that the casino will be concluded in the end of this year. As one can see they are in the beginning- machine piles working-and certainly a hard work to do so fast.The news paper says the Venetian casino will open next year- but one can read in the fence -opening 2006 ?? May be they will open some temporary instalations (junks instead gondolas??)
