I'm not sure what you mean by warnings. I don't think I've ever had any. I receive messages that say that my virus definitions are updated. I do have the icon that says my Norton Antivirus Auto Protect is active and my email scanning is active.
It's possible that it's been programmed not to tell me if viruses have been caught.
