Bob, Michael Jackson did at one time...

... own the publishing rights to the early Beatles songs (through his purchase of the Northern Songs catalog)... I believe he may have sold all of his publishing to Sony a few years ago in an effort to raise millions of dollars to support his rather expensive lifestyle.

In any event, you wouldn't need publishing, recording, performance rights or anything like that to do a set of classic Beatles album covers on chips - just the rights to the artwork on the covers, which I believe is still owned by Apple.

But as Dennis Miller used to say, "that's just my opinion and I could be wrong."
