Norton and MacAfee are the top two protection systems. As long as you keep your definitions updated and do your scans auto or manual of your system and incoming/out going mail you should be fine. This is until you get hit with a vitus before a definition comes out. This happened to me last month, but Norton had a simple cleanup available the next day.
