A friend just retired... so a few friends had a retirement 'party' for him which included dinner and some gambling. First they stopped in Vinton La. and the retiree got lucky and won $1,000 on the slots. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.... So continuing, they went on to dinner in Lake Charles and next to the River Boats. My (retiree) friend who's luck was running really hot.... hits the PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT for $500,000 (and change)!! Yep, a half million! What a way to start your retirement!
