If your coming from Florida the Biloxi, Gulfport area would be your best bet. Tunica I believe has the better casinos but Tunica is about 300 miles north of Biloxi near Memphis. In the Biloxi, Gulfport area be sure to check out Beau Rivage and the Grand casinos in both areas. I like the I.P. myself for some reason. Just a couple blocks up from Beau Rivage on the back bay. Boomtown is just down the road from Imperial Palace if your in the slumming mood. Be sure to check out the new Copa. It's like night and day from the old Copa. If you make it to Tunica the Grand is the largest riverboat casino in the country. Worth a visit. Skip Bally's... You won't miss anything there. The trio of Sheraton, Horseshoe, and Gold Strike is the place to be. All 3 sit directly next to one another. You would barely get wet in a downpour walking between the three. On a slow day Horseshoe has 6 dice games up and running strong, 8 games most of the time. For dice action there's no place like Horseshoe. 20X odds is the norm in Tunica, but Horsehose is ALWAYS jammed up. Besides, I'm there :) Sam's Town, Hollywood, and Harrah's are about 3 miles away.
