A few comments about the Seller

He is not a chipper... he is in the jewelry business.
After a few terse emails... we both took deep breaths and started over. He is bending over backward to correct this and even agreed to refund shipping charges if we couldn't do an exchange.

I sent him a scan of chips with "sharp edges", explaining that "term" meant something very specific in our hobby... and using it without applying it correctly would disapoint many chippers who, like me, wanted the chips based on condition.

I should also comment that my proxy bid was $20+ BASED on the auction description... but because he had a dozen auctions listed at the same time, the prices stayed down.

Anyway... I think he understands our terminology a little better... and I for the most part, feel he has done and offered everything possible to please a dissatisfied Buyer one would expect him to do. grin
