We bought a Lego Mindstorms Robotics Kit a couple years ago for our daughter. Included with this kit is a few motors and various sensors that you can use to build robots using Lego bricks.

We came up with the idea of building a robot that would use a disposable camera and a touch sensor. When the squirrel attempts to eat off of the plastic lid, the touch sensor is depressed causing the robot to snap off a picture with one motor and then another motor is activated to advance the film on the camera.

When the Robot is triggered by the touch sensor, it usually spooks the squirrel and he runs away for a couple of minutes. It was really funny to see it in person and caught it on video as well. Here is a link that video if you are interested in seeing it.
